Submission for Student Organization Weekly Newsletter
The Student Organization Newsletter goes out weekly (Wednesdays), to all student organization's primary contacts, advisors, authorized signers and members that are listed in Maize Pages. The Newsletter is also sent to studentorg.info@umich.edu email group. To join the email group please email CCI-webstuff@umich.edu and request to be added to the newsletter.
The Newsletter is an opportunty for student organizations amd departments to share information to student organizations about upcoming events, leadership opportunities, funding opportunities and information that is available to them and the campus community.
The criteria for opportunities to be published in the Weekly Student Organization Newsletter are:

The opportunity/event must be student organization focused.
- EXAMPLE: Notificiation that Festifall registration is now open.

Information is solely for student organizations as a whole.
- EXAMPLE: An opportunity for the student organization to participate in a art project for a prize.
- EXAMPLE: Funding opportunities for student organizations
*Messages will not be included if the event has already happened prior to the email being sent, if the message does not advertise a specific event/opportunity, or if the message is solely for fundraising. Additionally, if the event/opportunity is one that an individual can attend on their own, it will not be published. Events that individuals can attend can be placed on the Maize Page Bulletin Board.
CCI staff will make final decisions on whether any message will be included in the Weekly Newsletter - any questions regarding the appropriateness of a submission should be directed to CCI-webstuff@umich.edu.
If your organization would like to advertise an event you can do so through Maize Pages "Create an event". You will need to include that it is open to the public and include a flyer (jpeg file) and it will be posted on Maize Pages home bulletin board.
