Campus Involvement

This year the Center for Campus Involvement is offering Festifall and Northfest grants to those organizations that are unable to participate due to financial constraints. Eligible organizations will be accepted on a first come first serve rolling basis. The grant funding application will open on March 15th and will be processed weekly on April 1st until capacity has been reached. A group may only receive funding to participate in one Fest (Festifall OR Northfest).

FUNDING APPLICATION-OPENS ON MARCH 15, 2019

The following criteria must be met to be eligible to receive the grant:

  • Must be a current Recognized Student Organization in Good Standing

  • Application form must be filled out by a current Authorized Signer (either 2018/2019 or 2019/2020)

  • Must currently have less than the cost of both Fests in your SOAS account ($60, cost of both Fests combined)

  • Provide description on how participation in Festifall/Northfest will improve your organization’s success

  • By August 1, selected organizations must have completed the 2019-2020 re-registration and Authorized Signer process

  • Failure to show at the fest will result in the organization being charged the Fest fee

The following funding is available for each Fest:

  • Festifall has 35 spots available

  • Northfest has 10 spots available

It is expected that this funding will run out quickly as Festifall and Northfest  fill to capacity with 500+ and 200+ organizations respectively. For best chances submit your request as close to the March 15th open date as possible.
