Student Organization Leaders,
The Center for Campus Involvement knows that participation in student organizations is an important part of your student experience at University of Michigan. We are committed to helping you continue to find the connections, community and experiences that involvement in student orgs provides. Of course, this Fall semester is going to be different than semesters past, so it’s important that you have the tools and resources you need to continue your student organization work in a safe, healthy and physically distant ways.
To help student organizations get started, we have developed the Fall 2020 Planning Guide for Student Organizations. This guide is meant to help you and your student organization consider what resources are at your disposal and continue conversations about what this Fall will look like for you as an organization. Please consider this as a starting point and think about ways that this guidance can turn into action for your organization.
It covers topics including:
- Guiding Questions for Fall
- Virtual Meeting Best Practices
- Engaging Your Members & the Campus Community
- Event/Program Planning
- Making the Most of Maize Pages
- Leadership Transitions & Elections
- And more!
CCI is here to support you. Guidance, policies and restrictions are constantly developing and evolving, but CCI will continue to give student organization leaders updates as they develop. If you have questions or concerns about your student organization, please get in touch with us! CCI is available by email (email@example.com); Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST.
Be well and Go Blue,
The Center for Campus Involvement
