Who are the Leadership Consultants?

Leadership Consultants are a group of peer educators from the Center for Campus Involvement who have experience and expertise in organizational leadership. They research and develop resources for student organizations, facilitate leadership workshops and provide individual and small group consultations for student organization members at the University of Michigan.

Marni B.

About Marni: I am originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, which is a suburb of Phoenix! I am studying Public Health and also pursuing a minor in Law, Justice, and Social change from the Department of Sociology. I'm really passionate about social justice issues in general, but specifically women's issue. I am also passionate about health education and am really involved in SAPAC, where I help to facilitate workshops for student organizations! Outside of school and work, I love spending time with friends, trying new restaurants and getting to explore all of downtown Ann Arbor!

Jonathan C.

About Jonathan: Born and raised in Hong Kong, I am currently a Senior at the Ross School of Business majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Music. I am the Director and Co-founder of a nonprofit youth orchestra in Hong Kong, where I have experience organizing concerts and tours locally and internationally. I have experience in networking with alumni and companies, fundraising, marketing, mission finding and goal setting.

About Win-Win: My name is Win-Win Cheng and I'm from Taipei, Taiwan. I'm currently majoring in Sport Management and serve as the Student Manager of the Women's Basketball Team on campus. That being said, I'm interested in sports and entertainment, and my favorite city in the U.S. is Boston (Go Celtics)!

Angie L.

About Angie: Hi! I'm from Rochester, Michigan and I'm a junior studying Economics and Entrepreneurship. I'm interested in anything technology-related and I recently have gotten into 3D printing. Over the summer I picked up longboarding, digital art, baking, and attempting to walk/train my cat to longboard, but nowadays in my free time, I'm usually seen at a bubble tea shop or watching The Great British Baking Show. Ask me for a picture of a sassy cat and I can show you one!

Activities & Affiliations:Michigan RoboSub, Michigan Hyperloop, AIESEC, Michigan Taekwondo. I was also a part of HSSP my first year and participated in optiMize!

About Lauryn: I am currently a sophomore student majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Education for Empowerment. I am from the Metro-Detroit area, and use pronouns she/her/hers. I love trying local coffee shops and new espresso drinks. Through my involvement on campus, I strive to create communities where all students feel welcomed and supported throughout their time studying here at U-M.

About Star: I am a international transfer student from China, Shenzhen. Studying Computer Science Major and Math. Used to be a debater and a coach in debate. Gyms & hiking & foodie & writing.
