Student Organization Essentials

Organization Essentials is a required training implemented to strengthen the basic knowledge of the student organization leadership. The training consists of four focus areas which include Leadership, Policies, Finance, and Meeting/Events. Once your training had been completed, your certification will remain valid until it is re-registered for the following academic year. Organizations who do not complete Organizations Essentials (or whose certification has expired) will be frozen until training is completed. Organization Essentials is offered online through Canvas.

The Center for Campus Involvement is here to help our organizations and their campus support systems live into our campus values rooted in diversity, equity and inclusion. This toolkit is here to help you understand what it may can look like for your organization to be an integral part of the student organization community. Student Leader Advising

Are you a student leader? Looking to make your student organization stronger? Then Student Leader Advising is for you! You will be able to meet one-on-one with an expert from the Center for Campus Involvement and receive answers to any questions you might have regarding your organization.

Orglead is the student organization leadership series sponsored by the Center for Campus Involvement. This leadership series holds multiple learning opportunities throughout each semester free to all student organizations The goal of Orglead is to provide our student organizations with the resources they need to be leaders at their best.

Forever Go Blue: Recognizing Excellence in Student Philanthropy

Does your organization inspire philanthropic thinking or fundraise? Do you know of a student or student organization that has planned a fundraising event, helped with a class gift committee, or maybe even fundraised for a U-M cause on Giving Blueday? Nominate them for a Forever Go Blue: Recognizing Excellence in Student Philanthropy award. The Forever Go Blue awards honor students and/or organizations that promote philanthropic values and work.
