Leadership Connection

Applications are now open for Leadership Connection: Engage, coming May 1-4. Apply Now! (Deadline: March 31st)

Leadership Connection is leadership program for student organizations that provides an opportunity to develop through meaningful work in focus areas such as collaboration, social change, critical thinking, and reflection. This program is delivered in two ways: through one-day intensive sessions during Fall and Winter semesters, and through a three-day in-depth retreat in early May.

Change Our World with Nyle DiMarco

Come hear Nyle DiMarco, the first deaf winner of America's Next Top Model and Dancing with the Stars, talk about how he overcame adversity to become a successful and influential advocate for many diverse groups. Come learn about how you can embrace your unique identities and support all the diverse identities on the University of Michigan campus. Bicentennial Canvas Displays

Students can sign up to receive 24x36 inch canvas to decorate however they'd like, to illustrate their student orgs history on campus.  Student orgs can pick up a canvas until April 3rd.  However, canvases must be returned no later than 6pm on April 3, 2017.  

Students can opt to do a digital submission, where they tweet @UMInvolvement a picture of themselves with their canvas, along with the hashtags #Bicentennial200 #UMInvolve200

The canvases will be put on display for the entire campus on April 5, 2017 in the Michigan Union Ballroom from 12 - 6pm. 

CCI Advisory Board Applications

The Center for Campus Involvement is currently accepting applications for our Student Involvement Advisory Board. We are seeking a group of diverse students with various levels of campus involvement experience that are committed to improving the student experience at the University of Michigan.

Cirque Du UMix

Friday, March 31st 10pm-2am Michigan Union

The UMix circus is coming to town! Join CCI in the Michigan Union THIS Friday, for fun, food, & games! We've got a variety of inflatable & classic carnival games, decorate your own masks, a screening of A Bug's Life, and a circus themed buffet at Midnight! Stop on by for the second to last UMix of the year! 


Enjoy a cross-campus scavenger hunt with CCI!!! We will send out 3 tweets a day with clues to find the location of a Golden Block M, which ever students finds the Block M wins an amazing prize and bragging rights for an entire year. The Golden Block M could be in a one of many university departments and locations; it’s up to you to decide which one based off of the clues! 
Along with a few raffles for some awesome giveaways, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, good luck!!

The hunt for the Golden Block M begins on April 4th and ends on April 7th.

Tunde Olaniran w/ asante

Wednesday, April 5th at 7pm- Michigan League Ballroom

New Beat Happening & CCI are proud to present Tunde Olaniran with open asante in the Michigan League Ballroom on Wednesday, April 5. Tickets are $5 for students (w/M Card) and $10 for community. You can pick-up your tickets at MUTO in the Michigan Union or at the door the night of! Doors open at 7pm and music at 7:30pm. See you there!


Community of Cultures

Please join us on Friday, April 7th from 3-6pm in Pierpont Commons and the Duderstadt Center for a festival of art, culture, community, and unity. There will be performances, exhibits, cultural food samples, conversation circles, TED-style talks, Title IX presentation, information and activity stations, a Cube art project, photo booth, giveaways, and University VIPs!

Our final Friday Flicks of the year is out of this world! We're screening a very special space themed double feature of Passengers (8pm in Anderson D) & Star Wars Rogue One (10:30pm in Rogel Ballroom). As always, there will be free popcorn and water for your enjoyment! 

CCI On the Move: Toledo Zoo & Aquarium

Sunday, April 9th from 12 pm - 5 pm

On Sunday, April 9th we will be taking a trip to the Toledo Zoo in Toledo, Ohio. We are planning to leave the Union at 12 pm and return around 5 pm. This is a great opportunity to visit a cool place! Final Survival Breakfast

Thursday April 20th

Come enjoy an evening of breakfast, fun, good vibes, and awesome games.  There will be a breakfast buffet from 10pm-1am in the Michigan Union Ballroom!!! We will also have a grab and go option in Pierpont Commons. Come and de-stress with fellow classmates before exams start! Students will be served by President Schlissel and a number of administrators and department heads from the university.
