What is the IdeaHub? It’s the collaborative coworking space in the Michigan Union designed to support all of the University of Michigan’s 1500+ student organizations. Read more about what the IdeaHub is on the About the IdeaHub page.

What can my student organization do at the IdeaHub? The IdeaHub is built for students to work with their student organizations and collaborate with other groups on campus. To learn more about what specifically the IdeaHub has for you and your student organization, check out the Features & Services page.

How can my student organization reserve space in the IdeaHub? Room reservations are managed through EMS. For full descriptions of rooms available and step-by-step instructions on how to reserve, visit the IdeaHub Rooms page. All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

IdeaHub Space Use Policy

Effective Date: September 1, 2021

The purpose of the IdeaHub is to ensure student organizations have access to vital resources they need to support and succeed in their endeavors. Services include reservable meeting rooms, storage space, workrooms, movement studios, and special marketing and peer consultant services.

About the IdeaHub

The IdeaHub is a home for student orgs! It's the collaborative coworking space for student organizations at the Michigan Union, dedicated to serving all of Michigan’s 1500+ student organizations and their members. At the IdeaHub, students are encouraged to work within and among their student organizations, experiment with leadership and exchange ideas.
