What is OrgLead?
Are you a student organization leader looking to connect with fellow leaders, build community, and strengthen your leadership skills? If so, we'd like to invite you to register for the Center for Campus Involvement's OrgLead program!
OrgLead is a cohort-based leadership development program for student organization leaders. Focused on navigating group dynamics and leading effective teams, OrgLead will help you develop your leadership skills and go above and beyond in your organization. Along the way, you'll build a sustainable community of support with other student organization leaders.
OrgLead content aligns with the University of Michigan's M-LEAD competencies listed below and counts toward the M-LEAD Leadership Certificate. (Click here to learn more)
- Communication: Adaptability, Facilitation, Feedback
- Organizational Change: Action, Building Relationships, Vision
- Reflection: Authenticity, Meaning Making, Self Awareness
- Emotional Intelligence: Empathy, Humility, Resilience
Application Process
- There is no cost to selected participants.
- Participants must be authorized signers for their student organization.
- OrgLeaders are identified through an application process that opens on August 24th, 2026.
- OrgLead applications will be open for 2 weeks, closing on September 14th, 2026.

Requirements
- Attend Orientation happening on Monday, September 21st.
- Attend seven out of the eight workshops shown in the calendar below.
- Participate in the Showcase happening on Monday, April 5th 2027.
- Schedule two 1:1 mentorship sessions with the OrgLead Team sometime during the academic year.
- BONUS: Complete the Personal Leadership Development Project (more information to come during orientation).
Incentives
As a thank you for your time and dedication to participating and graduating from the OrgLead program, the following incentives will be provided:

- Receive a digital badge through Parchment that you can showcase on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- 1 week of free advertising for SORC.
