Sponsored student organizations are able to raise funds in all the ways organizations typically do. However, the process for accepting and processing these funds may require a special process since the SSO is a part of the University, and the University cannot accept certain funds. Each sponsoring unit has a dedicated team of officers from the Office of University Development (OUD) who should be contacted first when dealing with any kind of fundraising or charitable contribution.
