Retrieving Your Diag Board Canvas
Once SORC drivers have taken a Diag board down, it will be held at SORC for two weeks, during which you can pick it up.
After two weeks, it becomes property of SORC and one of several things could happen:
- If it is double-sided, it will likely be discarded.
- If it is single-sided and in good condition, it will be placed in the "For Sale" box at SORC so that groups on tight budgets can buy used.
- If it is not discarded or put up for sale, it could be recycled through a partnership with the Office of Campus Sustainability.
We do our best to keep a record of all Diag boards for as long as they are in SORC's possession. But please bear in mind that the volume of Diag boards is immense (up to 40 every week, 50 weeks a year), and our storage space is very limited, so we cannot track them indefinitely. Sometimes we will not be able to tell you exactly what happened to your Diag board after the 2-week pickup period.
If we still have your Diag board, you can always take it back for free, no matter how old.
