A detailed price list for all SORC advertising services appears below.
Unless otherwise arranged, payment for SORC advertising services must be made by transfer of funds from a U of M shortcode. Once the shortcode is provided, any full-time staff member with authority from the department may confirm departmental reservations. For student organizations, however, only designated authorized signers have the authority to confirm reservations.
- SORC clerks will forward the request to the person listed as the authorized signer.
- That person will need to reply to SORC's email from their umich.edu e-mail account to authorize the transfer of funds from the SOAS account number provided.
- The agreement is then legally binding. The contract will be finalized the week before the reservation begins. Click here to read SORC's cancellation policy.

Student Event Advertising Prices
Student Event ad spaces are rented on a per-event basis. Organizations and departments may book one sign per event during the first round of appointments, and if there is still space after that they may book more.

The advertiser is responsible for paying SORC for the space rental and providing the materials for SORC to put in the advertising location on the date scheduled. Whether professionally printed or made from scratch, all materials must meet construction requirements. These ads will be much cheaper to print compared to banners or diag boards.

SORC offers bulk discounts on advertising services!
Guidelines and caveats:
- Discounts cannot be combined. We will extend the highest discount for which you qualify, but not multiple discounts for the same service. For example, if you reserve Digital advertising space for 6 weeks plus Diag boards and Table Tents, you would be eligible for:
- 3 services discount off Diag Board space rental (10%)
- 3 services discount off of Table Tent space rental (10%)
- Longevity discount off of Digital Ad space rental (25%)
- Discounts cannot be granted retroactively or applied to previous semesters.
- Discounts can only be applied to services reserved within the same semester.
- Student Organizations: there are multiple opportunities for you to earn a week of free digital advertising through educational and leadership workshops offered by the Center for Campus Involvement.

3 Services Loyalty Discount
- Reserve any three advertising services for the same reservation period/semester and save 10% off the space rental. Discount does not apply to Diag board or Diag banner placement or movement fees.
- If we forget to extend this discount, please ask! If services are reserved at different times during the semester and recorded on different contracts, we don't always connect the dots.
- We will extend the highest discount for which you are eligible. In some cases, this will be different amounts. For instance, if you reserve 1 Diag board space for 4 weeks, Banner Pole spaces for 2 weeks, and Digital Ad space for 6 weeks, you would be eligible for:
- 10% off Diag board space rental
- 10% off Banner Pole space rental
- 25% off Digital Ad space rental
