SUMMER 2024 APPOINTMENTS

Information for all Advertisers:

• Reservation appointments for  the Summer reservation period (May 8 through August 28) are open as of May 1. Appointments will be scheduled in the order in which requests are received.
• A few limits to be aware of:
  • You can reserve both Diag boards and Banner Poles at the same time/appointment.
  • A few limits to be aware of:
    • Diag boards can't stay at the same location for the entire summer period.
      • Diag boards will need to move at least once every 6 weeks. You may choose the move dates. Not available: May 29, July 3 (holidays).
      • If your Diag board reservation lasts no more than 6 weeks, moving is not required.
      • Banners do not need to move.
    • Limits during Welcome Week (August 19-26)
      • There is a limit of 2 Diag Board spaces per group. It is not possible to add more spaces at a second appointment.
      • There is a limit of 1 Banner Pole space per group. It is not possible to add more spaces at a second appointment.
  • There are substantial discounts on space rental for the Summer reservation period.
    • Reserve 6-11 spaces, save 10% on space rental
    • Reserve 12-16 spaces, save 25% 
    • Reserve 17 spaces or more, save 50%
• Contracts must be signed and shortcodes provided before 2 business days after the contract is sent. The charge will be processed (funds deducted from your shortcode) the week before your reservation begins. If COVID, a natural disaster, or something similar closes campus before your reservation begins, you will have the option of cancelling for no charge. If you cancel for other reasons, our regular billing and cancellation policy is in effect. 

First-time Advertisers: 

• Please submit this brief request form to get an appointment.
• After you submit the request, the SORC Supervisor will email you to arrange a time for the appointment. Your appointment time will also be added to the list below, for reference.
• Appointments will be conducted via Google Meet. The link to the video call is provided via Google calendar after you submit the above request form. If you do not receive that email, please reach out to SORC via email as soon as possible.
  • Plan to join the Video call about 3 minutes early, just in case you encounter technical delays. If you have trouble with the link, call 734-764-0436.
  • Student organizations must provide the exact name as registered on Maize Pages.
  • Departments should not preface their name with "University of Michigan." All departments are University of Michigan.

  • If reserving Diag boards: I have read the construction and content guidelines for Diag boards and will submit materials that follow these guidelines.
  • If reserving Banner Poles: I have read the construction and content guidelines for Banner Poles and will submit materials that follow these guidelines.
